St Mary's Westmead healthcare facility is a six-storey medical centre with one level of basement parking. Our team employed innovative engineering solutions to address the project's unique challenges.

A cantilevered shoring design was implemented and the structure of the medical centre features a column frame system with minimal internal supports, allowing for large open spans and maximising the flexibility of the interior space.

Post-tension slabs were utilized throughout the facility, offering enhanced structural efficiency and reducing material costs. The design prioritised creating spacious and functional areas to accommodate various medical services and equipment.
