CARLINGFORD

Nestled on Thallon Street in Carlingford, the project encompasses a 9-storey building with 48 apartments and two basement levels.

To ensure the structural integrity of the development, we implemented anchored and internally braced secant pile shoring walls. These robust systems provide essential support during construction, guaranteeing safety and stability. The tanked hydrostatic raft basement slab serves as a reliable barrier against water infiltration, creating a dry and secure environment within the basement levels.

The column frame structure forms the backbone of the building design, providing strength and stability throughout. Reinforced basement slabs were skill-fully designed, capable of withstanding heavy loads and ensuring durability. Above the transfer level, post-tension slabs have been designed and rationalised, optimising structural efficiency and reducing material usage.

Additionally, the project includes enticing rooftop communal areas, providing residents with a tranquil space to unwind and enjoy leisure activities while soaking in the view.

At HHC Engineers, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes, and the Thallon Street Carlingford project exemplifies our commitment to excellence. Through meticulous planning we create spaces that combine structural integrity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
