HHC Engineers designed the structural and shoring for of a 114-place childcare centre located in Five Dock. Our team successfully addressed specific challenges, including the need for a Specialist Engineers Assessment report to satisfy Sydney Water requirements due to a sewage pipe landing within the piling zone of influence. To ensure stability during construction, we implemented an anchored and cantilevered shoring design. The structure of the childcare centre is supported by a column frame system, providing strength and stability. Post-tension slabs were utilised throughout the facility, enhancing structural efficiency and durability. The design also incorporates large open spans, creating spacious and flexible areas for children to learn and play. Through careful planning and expert engineering, HHC Engineers contributed to the design of a safe, functional, and inviting childcare centre in the heart of Five Dock.
