This two-storey building comprises seven self-contained dwellings and one level of basement parking. Our team successfully addressed the site's unique challenges by implementing a cantilevered and anchored shoring design. Foundation piles were used to reach bedrock, mitigating the impact of weak upper subgrade materials.

The structure of the building features a column frame system and post-tension slabs were utilised throughout the facility. Additionally, the design incorporates large roof voids to accommodate pop-out structures, adding architectural interest and maximising usable space.

Through careful engineering and innovative design, HHC Engineers contributed to the design of a safe, comfortable, and functional living environment for seniors in Caringbah.
