128 STUDENT EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
Construction has commenced of a 128-student early learning centre, which HHC is proud to be involved in, ensuring a safe & efficient design. Screw pile foundations were implemented to address the presence of weak materials and provide stable support.
The structure of the centre features a load-bearing masonry design, ensuring durability and strength. A significant design feature includes a large cantilevered suspended slab, providing additional usable space and enhancing the architectural appeal of the building. Additionally, a steel-framed roof was incorporated over the multi-purpose court, allowing for large open spans without the need for internal supports.
This design approach optimises the interior space, providing a versatile and flexible environment for learning and play. With careful engineering and innovative design, HHC Engineers successfully contributed to the development of a modern and functional early learning centre.
