Lakemba School
HHC Engineers proudly worked alongside the Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) and ADS to design the Lakemba School project. This primary school, designed to accommodate 300 students, features two levels of basement parking to cater to the needs of staff and visitors. Our team came up with an anchored shoring design solution to ensure the stability of the site during construction.
The structure of the school is supported by a column frame system, providing a strong framework. Additionally, reinforced basement slabs were incorporated with Post-tension slabs from ground level and above, allowing for efficient and cost-effective construction. The interior spaces were designed with large open spans to accommodate classrooms and other functional areas, providing a conducive learning environment for the students.
