ANNANGROVE
HHC Engineers took on the challenging project in Annangrove, which involved the design of an industrial storage facility along with multiple ancillary structures, including a residence, garage, and horse stable. The site presented a major cross fall, requiring careful engineering considerations to ensure a successful outcome.
The project featured a substantial 3,500m2 shed, providing ample space for storage and operational needs. The design incorporated large internal open spans to maximise the usable area and facilitate smooth operations within the facility.
The presence of weak upper subgrade materials necessitated the design and implementation of foundation piles that extended down to the bedrock. This strategic approach ensured the stability and support required for the structures, providing a solid foundation for the entire project.
To ensure durability and structural integrity, a steel frame structure was utilised for the construction of the facility. Steel offers strength, flexibility, and longevity, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications.
By utilising steel frames and deep foundation piles, we have ensured a safe and functional industrial storage facility.
