CAMPBELLTOWN
The Campbelltown project is an impressive undertaking, consisting of two buildings with 73 apartments spread across 10 storeys and 3 basement levels. HHC Engineers successfully addressed various challenges to ensure the project's success.
To comply with regulatory requirements, we conducted a comprehensive structural report to satisfy TfNSW standards. Additionally, a specialist Engineers Assessment report was prepared to meet Sydney Water's stringent guidelines. Our expertise in anchored and internally strut shoring design ensured the stability and safety of the construction site.
To expedite building plan approval, we implemented a 2-stage shoring and excavation process. This efficient approach facilitated the project's progression while meeting regulatory requirements. Foundation piles were strategically positioned to accommodate the upper-level building envelope located outside the basement footprint.
To cater to commercial tenancies, a loading dock was designed and positioned on the podium slab, providing ample head height to accommodate medium rigid vehicles. The column frame structure, reinforced basement slabs, and post-tension slabs from the transfer level and above were meticulously designed and executed to ensure optimal strength and durability.
The project also features enticing rooftop communal areas, offering residents a space to relax and enjoy the views.
HHC Engineers' commitment to excellence is exemplified by our skilful navigation of the regulatory hurdles to bring this project forward. We are implementing innovative design solutions to deliver a structure that blends functionality, aesthetics, and community spaces.
